Holiday Break

AJS Self Defence will have its holiday break from 14/12/07 and re- start on Monday 4/02/08. We are also looking into starting a new class a Rydalmere East Public School in the new year.

Giuldford Youth Project

AJS Self Defence has just completed a 6 Week General Self Defence course with the Giuldford Youth Project. All particpants reported strong feedback in terms of course detail, having a feeling of better self protection; and had great fun doing it.

Well done gang!!

Next is a request from Riverwwod Community Centre. This 6 week course is more about getting mums and dads and the kids out and about doing some fun activities together. Can't wait to start this in late October.

LADIES SELF DEFENCE

The AJS 6 week Self Defence Course concentrates on how to avoid situations. It also show you some basic blocking, pressure point striking, pressure point low kicking (nothing above the belt) as well as 10 pressure point self defence techniques to get out of trouble.

THEY ARE LOW IMPACT EXERCISES AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PHYISICALLY FIT.

YOUR SAFETY IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!!

ANDREW SANDS IS AN ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR WITH THE MARTIAL ARTS INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (MAIA). THE COURSE IS ALSO ENDORED BY MAIA.

Taekwondo Seven Hills

The new Taekwondo class at Seven Hills has completed its first Grading promotion as examined by Grand Master Sung Soo Lee. All students performed well with Emma double Grading. Well done!

All students of Vardys Road Public School who start training will receive a free uniform. Any student that starts 2 more moe students in any one month will train for free for 1 month. Also, the next 6 students to join from the general public will recieve a FREE uniform. This class is filling up qiuckly- Don't wait; call now!!

NSW Taekwondo Jidokwan Tournament

The NSW Taekwondo Association Technical Tournament was held at Kellyville Sports and Recreactional Centre on Sunday 26/08/07.

 

The tournament was well received and organised.

 

103 competitors attended in; Non contact sparring, demonstrations, tile breaking, patterns, wood breaking, Team demonstrations and Team patterns.

 

We are also stating a new website at www.australianmartialartsfederation.org.au and www.amaf.org.au

 

It should be up and running by mid September. It will link both the NSW Taekwondo Association and The Australian Hapkido Federation Inc'
